The 2019 Zoo Gala Patron Party was a private pre-gala event graciously hosted by David and Jerri Hoffmann. The event celebrated the donors who help support the Naples Zoo‘s work with endangered species and their efforts to inspire young hearts to love animals and nature.
This year, The Bevy was transformed by Lark & Willow Events and Kaleidoscope Floral into a beautiful tropical-themed oasis. The Bevy was chosen by Jerri Hoffmann based on the 2019 Zoo Gala theme, “Adventure in South America”. The outdoor social setting at The Bevy and its gorgeous living plant walls emulated a tropical rainforest making it the perfect venue for the evening.
Under the direction of Managing Partner Katie Adams and Lead Designer, Betsy Moffitt, Lark & Willow Events planned all facets of the event directly with Jerri Hoffmann including designer table linens, florals, and sultry South American entertainment. A stunning tropical floral installation designed and crafted by Kaleidoscope Floral placed set the stage for South American adventure, while vibrant coordinating tropical floral arrangements added a spectacle of color to the table settings.
The sounds of an authentic South American Band featuring a Tango dance couple transported guests to South America. Living Butterfly Vine stilt performers greeted guests as they arrived and provided awe-inspiring performances throughout the evening. Gracing the vertical garden walls of The Bevy, a state-of-the-art Butterfly Hologram continuously fluttered its wings providing unique visual entertainment for guests.
On display, as guests entered, bold designer jewelry by David Webb, the quintessential jewelry designer, was provided by Marissa Collections with proceeds to benefit the Naples Zoo. Gorgeous models utilized the venue as a catwalk to showcase his stunning jewelry designs. In addition, The Bevy created a one-of-a-kind custom menu for the evening with dishes inspired by South American culture.
