With another successful Naples Winter Wine Festival in the books, the annual festival raised a record-breaking $20 million to help children in our community. Since its inception in 2001, the Winter Wine Festival has raised more than $200 million for the Naples Children and Education Foundation. The results of this fundraiser continue to help time after time, impacting over 55,000 at-risk children in Southwest Florida thanks to the generosity of donors.
The festival itself is something to be seen with its over-the-top extravagance and dedication. Many local companies come together to create this fantastic festival including Hoffmann Family of Companies’ Lark & Willow Events, who was the official décor sponsor this year. Formally known as WeddingLux/ EventLux, Lark & Willow Events’ involvement with the 2020 Naples Winter Wine Festival began in early January at the Cultivation Event. Hosted at the Naples Yacht Club, Lark & Willow provided décor enhancements and celebration inspired florals to kick off the festivities for the event. They partnered with Kaleidoscope Floral to bring the design to life.
As an official décor sponsor for the festival, Lark & Willow Events provided prop styling for the Lot Room, huge, colorful CELEBRATE letters on the lawn to coincide with the “CELEBRATE 20 Years of Cheer” theme, and a 3D history wall commemorating logos from the last 20 years of Naples Winter Wine Festival.
Lark & Willow Events also provided the prop styling for the festival’s major sponsor, NetJets. They transformed the courtyard into a Rosé Garden with a custom bar cart, white picket fence, custom wine barrels and floral accents provided by Kaleidoscope. The display greeted each guest as they entered the festival.
The weekend-long festival saw three separate Vinter Dinners including an over-the-top color block theme at Naples Botanical Garden, Phantom of the Opera dinner at a private penthouse and an Under the Sea inspired dinner at a private residence.
The Hoffmann family co-hosted one of the Vintner Dinners this year with the Welsh family at the Naples Botanical Garden with 48 guests in attendance. The color-blocked theme of the dinner event was “CELEBRATE” in conjunction with the “CELEBRATE 20 Years of Cheer” theme of the festival.
The event was whimsical and colorful, perfect for the mission for children. Lark & Willow Events played off the explosion of the festival’s colors with a custom, giant party popper invitation with a custom music clip playing “Celebration” by Kool & the Gang. The playful decor looked like a scene out of Avatar with the trees and landscape of the garden illuminated in rich, luminescent colors.
On the same evening as the Naples Winter Wine Festival Vintner Dinners, GlobalWorks Events (the sister company of Lark & Willow Events) also produced a lavish corporate Awards gala for 500 guests at the Loews Miami Beach Resort.
