The Hoffmanns have purchased 10 acres of land, including a hanger, at the Washington Missouri Regional Airport where they will store a newly acquired helicopter and begin operations of helicopter tours down the Missouri river in mid-October.
Operating from the Washington Regional Airport located in Dutzow, Missouri, the helicopter tours intend to fly along the Missouri River offering breathtaking views of historic Washington, Missouri, Hoffmann-owned vineyards, and then to Hermann, Missouri and back. An exact route is yet to be determined and will include a narrated tour along with the flight. The 4-passenger (pilot + 3 passengers) helicopter will be housed in the Hoffmann’s newly acquired hanger at the Washington Missouri Regional Airport which is currently utilized as well by Mid-American Coaches, another Washington, Missouri Hoffmann-owned company.
In addition to the hanger, the purchase included 10 acres of land, which will be used to build an FBO, additional hangers for the Hoffmann fleet, and offer hangers for rent.
