The Hoffmann Family of Companies have added 100 acres through American Farms of Naples, Fla. to its expanding agricultural investments which includes vineyards, organic herbs and spices, nurseries, tree farms, golf courses, and now annuals and perennials.

Located east of Naples in Golden Gate Estates sits American Farms, the largest regional wholesaler of annuals and perennials, distributing their plants and flowers to Walmart, Lowes, retail locations, local nurseries and landscaping companies.  The American Farms story began back in 1991 with a passion for plants and some empty land. Now the operation has expanded to 100 acres with two growing locations in Naples, Fla. In addition to two farms, American Farms offers a centrally located wholesale/retail site on the corner of Airport Road and Orange Blossom Drive for local customers.

The expansion “continues our growth in Southwest Florida and tucks in with our national organic herbs offering World Wide Farms, our 1,200+ acres of vineyards, the largest in the Midwest, four golf courses and nurseries and tree farms.” Says David Hoffmann, founder of Hoffmann Family of Companies.  “We are excited about the management team and how great they fit into the Hoffmann culture and grow the business.  We will be acquiring other flower farms in Fla. and across the country as well.” Mr. Hoffmann adds.

In addition to American Farms Naples locations, they have distribution hubs in Miami, Tampa and Orlando which provide for the efficient and timely delivery of flowers all throughout the state.  “The American Farms team, is very excited about joining the Hoffman Family of Companies.  We believe demand for Flowering plants will continue to be strong through 2022 and we look forward to a bright and colorful future with the Hoffmann group as we beautify the landscape together.”. Christine Raber, Managing Director of American Farms.
