The Hoffmann Family of Companies has added three businesses to their list of hospitality companies: Palm Beach Tours & Transportation, Molly’s Trolleys, and Kirkland Event & Destination Services, and were purchased from the husband and wife team of John and Paget (Kirkland) Critchett who maintain minority ownership. The acquired transportation and event companies, located in Palm Beach county, have over 70 employees and a long list of Fortune 500 clients.
Palm Beach Tours & Transportation has been serving the South Florida area since its founding by Critchett in 1999. The company serves both corporate clients as well as leisure customers throughout southeast Florida with its fleet of 24 luxury vehicles and best-in-class chauffeured transportation services. PBTT is a strategically planned addition to the Naples Transportation & Tours acquisition in 2018. NT&T is the leading provider of limousine and charter bus transportation in Southwest Florida, along with its subdivisions of Naples Trolley Tours, Segway Tours, Everglades Excursions and a full-service DMC division.
Molly’s Trolleys was founded in 1998 and acquired by Critchett and Kirkland, in 2018. Molly’s Trolleys operates 21 enclosed, air-conditioned trolleys for corporate and social occasions in and around Palm Beach county. The 30 passenger trolleys feature handicapped accessibility, padded, bench-style seating, and impeccable interior woodwork for a unique transportation experience.
In 2006, Paget Kirkland founded Kirkland Event & Destination Services, a leading, full-service DMC which serves clients throughout South Florida and nationwide. The company specializes in full service, concept to completion event planning, offering services such as tours, activities, team-building, staffing, decor, entertainment, production, and speaker sourcing. Paget Kirkland leads the business and creates programs that fit every client’s needs. “I am excited that we are joining the Hoffmann Family of Companies and will continue to work with our existing, as well as new clients to offer an extended breadth of value added services,” Kirkland states.
David Hoffmann, the largest owner of commercial real estate in Naples, continues to follow his vision to grow the hospitality sector in South Florida. “After our recent acquisition of Marco Island Water Sports and Naples Beach Water Sports, I am excited to expand the list of companies to the east coast of Florida and bring on such strong leadership as John Critchett and Paget Kirkland have demonstrated.”
Marco Island Water Sports and Naples Beach Water Sports were acquired last week, and the Hoffmanns show no sign of slowing down with expanding their “Disneyland for adults” vision. With last month’s acquisition of Hertz Arena and the Florida Everblades in Estero, the Hoffmann Family of Companies has rapidly expanded their hospitality business acquisitions in Naples to now covering both coasts of South Florida (view complete list of Florida companies).
