The Hoffmann Family of Companies has signed a letter of intent to purchase Mid-American Coaches, expanding their investment and commitment to the Augusta-Washington, MO community where they’ve recently acquired six vineyards, four wineries and over 750 acres.
Founded in 1927, Mid-American Coaches is a family and veteran-owned business that operates 18 motor coaches and is the preferred travel partner of The St. Louis Billikens. Additional services include charter services for high schools, multi-day tour offerings, field trips, weddings, corporate, government, and church groups.
Mid-American Coaches currently services and operates the Hoffmann-owned trolleys running between the Augusta, MO wineries of Balducci Vineyards, Montelle Winery, Augusta Wine Company, and Mount Pleasant Estates. The addition of Mid-American Coaches will broaden offerings to and from Augusta from the surrounding areas as well as continue to promote the area, economy, and provide additional jobs in St. Charles County. All staff from Mid-American will be staying on and looks forward to future growth opportunities with the Hoffmann Family of Companies resources.
