It’s that time of year when people give back with time and donations the most to those in need. But the reality of it is that there are hundreds of local families who need help year-round.
Hoffmann Creative Agency teamed up with The Bevy and Eva’s Closet and Foundation to host a friendly brunch on October 13th, that brought our community together. Guests provided donations of essential, day-to-day items for the families in our neighborhood who need a helping hand. Brunch was served along with free mimosas for those who donated items. Local companies such as HobNob Kitchen & Bar and Bar Tulia donated gift cards for a donate-to-enter raffle as well.
We’d like to thank everyone who came out to help make this a successful day.
It’s an honor to be a part of a loving and caring community.
Eva’s Closet was founded by Jessica Goodall in memory of her aunt, Eva Engel, who relentlessly served others with grace & compassion. Today, the foundation serves over 1,000 children and families in poverty, homeless clients, domestic violence victims, foster children, migrant farmworkers, as well as other at-risk and underserved populations a month.
From socks and shoes for a child’s first day of school to basic toiletries such as toilet paper and toothbrushes, Eva’s Closet is able to provide people in need with everyday essentials we often overlook.
Couldn’t make it but still want to help? Donations are always in need.
