GlobalWorks Events & Destination Management is a full-service corporate event planning company located in Southwest Florida. We specialize in creating destination related events for high-end corporate clients. Our services include managing airport transfers, coordinating tours and activities and producing creative and unique themed events.
We are currently seeking motivated candidates with strong organizational skills who are interested in pursuing a career in the hospitality and event industry. Computer knowledge, with proficiency in Word and Excel, is required.
This is a full-time position reporting to a Managing Partner at the office located in downtown Naples.
Pay rate of $18.00 – $22.00/hour; Benefits include health insurance and paid time off
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
Contact Vendors (Florists/Musicians/Linen Vendors, etc.) to confirm availability and check pricing for specific events
Create event cost sheets in Excel format
Prepare Client Proposals in Word format with photos and creative descriptions
Follow up on miscellaneous sales/hotel leads as directed
Coordinate site visits for Event Managers
Act as liaison between Event Manager and clients as directed
Maintain/Post content to GlobalWorks/Lark and Willow Facebook Page and Instagram
Participate in event set-ups and strikes as needed
Manage vendors on-site pre and post event
General office hours of 9:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday – Friday; Evening and weekend hours as necessary.
